Old School rare item poll #3 - May 2013

-

Total Votes: 33,623

Detailed below are a number of ways that rare items can return, all of which came from your ideas. You can vote yes or no to each suggestion. If none of the ideas for an item pass the 75% threshold we do have a back up method for introducing them into Old School, details of which can be found below. If more than one of the ideas for bringing back a specific item passes the poll, we will implement all of the ideas that have passed.

Back Up Plan:

Should no suggestions for an item pass the vote, we will release the item during a holiday item event this summer. Every week during this event a different rare item will spawn in one location at a time on each world. Once that item has been collected it will respawn elsewhere. This will mean that there will only be one spawn of this item on each world at any one time. To ensure that these items will remain available in the future, every time we hold a holiday event, the corresponding items will also be available as rewards. For example, during this year's Halloween event you will be able to obtain pumpkins, Halloween masks and all the other old Halloween rewards.
